Your local solar team for Preston
We install solar panels and batteries across Melbourne North, including Preston. From our Williams Landing office, Preston is about 27 km away — and you'll deal with the same local team from your first question to years after switch-on.
Every system we install in Preston is designed around your actual energy use, your roof's orientation and shading, and your plans for a battery or an EV charger — installed by CEC-accredited installers, with one point of contact the whole way through.
Connecting solar to the CitiPower or Jemena network
Depending on your street, homes in Preston are supplied by CitiPower or Jemena. Your distributor — not your electricity retailer — approves new solar and battery connections and sets how much power your system can export to the grid. It's printed on your bill, and we confirm it from your meter number before designing your system.
We handle the connection application with your distributor, design your system to suit your export limit, and arrange the meter reconfiguration — so you don't need to deal with the network yourself.
With feed-in tariffs now only a few cents per kWh, the best savings come from using your own solar. We'll size your system so more of what you generate is used in your home — or stored in a battery for the evening.
